The Boulet Brothers Dragula made history by being the first U.S. reality show to cast a drag king. Now the show is making history yet again by crowing him "the world's next drag supermonster."

Landon Cider was one of two AFAB (assigned-female-at-birth) performers competing in season three, who also made headlines earlier this year when news broke of his casting on the show.

"I am a proud cis woman, lesbian and drag king." Cider said of his groundbreaking casting, "AFAB drag performers share the same length of history with queens, fill our communities with incredible artistry, and I am honored to be just one in an infinite sea of talent. Hollow and I are shattering glass ceilings."

"So grab a shard, AFABs, cause we're all coming for blood! Forever grateful to the Boulets for sharing a variety of voices on the platform they've built for all the queerdos. This season is one not to be missed and it's just the beginning!"

And shattered the glass ceiling he did.

Cider competed against ten other performers throughout this season, all of whom were drag queens, winning three main challenged and zero bottom placements, the final challenge had the drag queen going up against Dollya Black and Priscilla Chambers.

The three were tasked with creating and performing three looks for a self-designed floor show that adhered to the principles of the show, "filth, horror, and glamour." While the competition wowed the judges, it was Cider who was victorious with The Boulet Brothers crowning him the winner of season three and "the world's next drag super monster."

"Landon has worked for years to carve his way through a male dominated field with determination, grit, creativity, dignity and an infectious positivity that is inspiring in this day and age," Wrote The Boulet Brothers in a statement.

"From his audition tape to the finale, he has brought artistry, skill, message and meaning to every look and floorshow performance of the season. He earned this win, and we know that there is no one more qualified to spread the message and meaning of the show and the platform that we have created than him. Congratulations Landon Cider - we are so proud of you."

Landon's win is not just encouragement for all the up and coming Kings out there, but it also sends out a message that all forms of drag are valid and should be celebrated. Now, RuPaul, it's time for you to get on board!!!
