It may have taken 10 years, but one of the most highly anticipated sequels of this century is nearly here. That's the sequel to Zombieland of course!

Many expected that Sony Pictures would premiere the first bit of footage for Zombieland Double Tap at this year's San Diego Comic-Con. However, that didn't happen. Instead now a week later, Sony Pictures has released a trailer online, and fans of the original will love the fact that Jesse Eisenberg, Emma Stone, Abigail Breslin, and Woody Harrellson are back in action!

While the sequel may have taken way longer than fans of the original would have liked, as the old saying goes, it's better late than never! 10 years might film like a long time, there is a benefit because we're able to see what a decade into a zombie apocalypse might actually look like.

Based on the first trailer, a lot has happened between films. The number of ways to kills zombies has grown, and the gang has taken up residence in the now-empty White House. Their new idyllic living situation is short-lived as they face more zombies, a scatterbrained girl called Madison played by Zoey Deutch, the handsome a pot-smoking hippy Berkeley (Avan Jogia) and Nevada played by the ever-gorgeous Rosario Dawson.

It's been a long time coming, but it's finally here in all its post-apocalyptic goodness. Check it out below.
