The current fascination with nostalgia is massive at the moment. From reboots to TV series, anything that pays tribute to times of past is all the craze. Where does one draw the line?

Perhaps the nail in the coffin will be returning to 90s fashion. Will Smith has launched a nostalgia-fueled clothing line inspired by his hit NBC TV series, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. It's been nearly 25 years since the show went off the air, but its popularity and impact continue to live on with a new generation.

Beyond its popularity as a sitcom, the series proved to be the launchpad that turned Will Smith into star. The plot saw Smith sent from Philadephia by his mother to live with his wealthy aunt, uncle, and cousins in upper-class L.A's Bel-Air. Today, reruns of the show is still in syndication proving its status as a long-lasting hit.

Smith's fashion on the show proved a hit with many back in the early 90s trying their best to replicate. When Smith's character was first introduced to the Bel-Air Academy uniforms, Smith didn't waste any time discovering outlandish ways to wear it. This included the discovery that when flipped inside out, the blazer's inside patter seemed far more stylish.

Now Smith has created a fashion line inspired by The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and it's... pretty cool if you like the outrageous fashion of the 90s. In a video on Smith's Instagram account, he gives fans their first glimpse at the new clothing line, that he "creatively" calls Bel-Air Athletics. Check out some of the styles below, and yes, he has also created a jacket with the same reversible lining from the show.

There's no denying the new fashion line will prove a hit with the fans of the show. As the video points out the line is strictly athletic gear, but the way people adorn themselves with Active Wear, I wouldn't be surprised if we see this out in the clubs as well. While Smith is determined to bring 90s fashion back, there is one question we must ask. Do we really need it?

I say bring back clubbing in Ugg Boots!
