In what feels like forever, we finally have an idea when Game of Thrones is returning to our screens, and it looks to be a lot sooner than expected!

HBO has announced that the final season will premiere in April of 2019!

This means we're less than six months away to finding out what's been happening with our favourite Westeros inhabitants. While we're dying for the series to return, we're not sure if we're ready to say goodbye just yet.

In the meantime, HBO has also released a teaser trailer called #FortheThrone. It may not contain any new footage, but it does do a great job capturing all the pivotal moments of the series leading up to season 8

So many mixed emotions right now. The final season will be released in six extended episodes. We don't doubt that it's going to be all kinds of epic!
