The downside of streaming services and binge-watching a TV series is you usually have to wait another whole year before you get the next season. But for fans of Netflix's Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, we've got some great news for you!

Not only are we getting a Christmas holiday special on the 14th of December, but we now have a release date for the second season of the series, and it's coming a lot sooner than you thought! As of yesterday, we found out Season 2 will arrive on Netflix April 5, 2019!

The just-released brand new trailer gives us our first proper look at the new episodes that sees Sabrina rocking her new "darker" look after the dramatic events of the Season One finale, and it looks like things are going to get even crazier in Season Two! There's also a nod to the original Sabrina the Teenage Witch opening titles with the character magically changing outfits in front of a mirror.

Kiernan Shipka who plays the titular character recently teased, "I feel like we're already in such a rhythm from coming out of the first season that to jump right into the second one was really, really fun and just a great opportunity to keep the momentum going."

"Sabrina definitely changes and shifts a lot. Her growth is very evident and the second season definitely has a different spin on it than the first season. They're very different from each other."

We adored the first season and really can't get enough of the series. So we're stoked we won't have to wait another year for more Sabrina!!!
