The first trailer for the reboot of Charmed has arrived, and it's left me thinking Holly Marie Combs had every right to kick up a stink. I'll be honest, I never really got into the original series. But after watching this trailer, I kinda feel that I probably should have.

The trailer sets up the premise of the new series pretty quickly. We see Maggie and Mel as college students spending quality time with their loving mother. That is until she's found dead on the front steps and their long-lost sister Macy appears out of nowhere. Suddenly they discover they have magical powers and it's their job to save the world.

Maybe I'm too judgemental, but I'm just not feeling it. Perhaps the first episode will surprise me and make me an instant addict. But my gut feeling is saying otherwise. The words of Han Solo come to mind, "I have a bad feeling about this."
