Move aside Wonder Woman, because there's a new female superhero in town and she's going to kick some serious ass!

The first trailer for Marvel's Captain Marvel has finally arrived, and it's everything fans had hoped for and more! Brie Larson leads the charge as the titular character in Marvel's first female-fronted superhero film in the process taking the MCU back to the 1990s.

Captain Marvel tells the story of Carol Danvers, an Air Force pilot who gains superpowers after her DNA is fused with an alien species. Becoming one of one of the most powerful beings in the universe, she is thrust into battle as earth is caught up in the middle of a galactic war between two alien races.

Set during the 1990s, she joins forces with a young Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) opening his eyes to a whole new world of superpowers and alien races as the pair go up against the evil shape-shifting Skrulls.
