The first Wonder Woman 1984 trailer has arrived, and this time she's saving the world in the 1980s!

Set several decades after the first film, the sequel sees Diana Prince (Gal Gadot) going up against new villains Max Lord (Pedro Pascal) and Cheetah (Kristen Wiig), set against a backdrop of 80s nostalgia. While the trailer doesn't reveal too much of the film's plot, it does show the return of Chris Pine's Steve Trevor, who we last saw heroically sacrificing himself at the end of the last movie.

Considering the first film was a critical success, it's only logical that Patty Jenkins would return to the directing chair. There's so much going on in the trailer, and backed with a remix of New Order's iconic 'Blue Monday,' it's pure 80s greatness!

Wonder Woman 1984 will premiere mid-2020, so expect to be seeing a lot more marking from the film in the coming months.
