The Big Bang Theory, Game of Thrones and now Orange Is The New Black. 2019 seems to be the year that some of your most favourite shows are coming to an end. Returning to Netflix July 26th, the final season will see fans farewell their favourite inmates of Litchfield.

Last year the streaming service announced that the series would end after its seventh season with creator Jeni Kohah saying at the time, “After seven seasons, it’s time to be released from prison. I will miss all the badass ladies of Litchfield and the incredible crew we’ve worked with. My heart is orange but fade to black.”

The series received worldwide acclaim when it premiered in 2013, and over the years has become one of Netflix's most popular shows. The series has received several Emmy Nominations, Golden Globe Award Nominations, six Writers Guild of America Award nominations, a Producers Guild of America Award, an American Film Institute award, and a Peabody Award.

It's no surprise that it will leave a void for fans who have followed the girl's journeys over the last seven years. It comes as no surprise that Netflix's first promo featuring the cast singing the show's theme song will definitely hit fans right in the feels.
