On Monday Netflix dropped a teaser for the highly anticipated season 3 of Stranger Things. At first viewing, you might be left wondering WTF? But a closer study of the short clip, the teaser reveals more than first thought.

The clip packed with numerous 80s references seems to put the time frame of season 3 around 1984 while introducing us to Starcourt, a new mall opening in Hawkins. We also get a glimpse of fan-favourite Steve Harrington (Joe Keery) and newcomer Robin played by Maya Hawke working at Scoops Ahoy, an ice cream shop based in the new mall.

With such a focus Starcourt, I reckon we'd be right in thinking a majority of season 3 will be surrounding the new mall. According to the commercial it's coming next summer which could possibly be a hint that the series will return in 2019. But considering summer is underway in the US, could we be seeing it drop even earlier? We could only hope.
