This was the face of many this morning hoping to score tickets to this year's Splendour In The Grass.

The three-day festival being headlined by the likes of Kendrick Lamar, Vampire Weekend and Lorde, sold out out within 30 minutes this morning.

Tickets were previously made available yesterday for Byron Bay locals with some waiting up to seven hours in line to grab there. There was also a pre-sale for previous festival punters, which went on sale Tuesday. However, today they were made available to the public and were gone within the blink of an eye.

People are pretty devastated at missing out. My facebook in particular has been plagued with people's disappointments, with some claiming not to have sacrificed enough virgins to the powers that be, while others have been offering all sorts of favours in the hope to score a ticket.

Someone has even started up a Facebook event for those hoping to jump the fence with over 4000 already interested in attempting that fateful jump. It must be noted we don't encourage this as for starters it's uber illegal and can be pretty dangerous.
