I don't know about you, but this news makes me a little nervous for the upcoming ninth season of American Horror Story. Recently creator Ryan Murphy revealed that the forthcoming season will be titled AHS 1984, and now series alum Sara Paulson has shared what she knows about the season... and it doesn't seem like much.

Speaking with SyFy Paulson who has starred in every season to date admitted that she is still "in the dark" about the upcoming season and she usually has "more information" at this point.

When the actress was asked if she would be back for another season, she replied, “I don’t really know the answer to that."

“I think… all I can say is I know the least about this season upcoming that I’ve known about any season. I don’t even know… yeah, that’s all I can say."

“I think that’s all I can say. Usually, I have more information at this point, and I’m bugging Ryan with questions."

“Right now, I don’t have a lot, and yeah, I’m so busy with Ratched, it’s hard for me to think about anything beyond that.”

It was also recently announced that Evan Peters would be having a break from the series, and now these comments from Sarah Paulson definitely has fans of the series feeling a little nervous. Could the series be going ahead without two of its greatest stars?

So far, the only cast that has been confirmed for the series is Emma Roberts and Gus Kenworthy. With an expected release date for later this year, by now fans usually have an idea of who would be returning for the next installment.

Could the ninth season go ahead not only without Evan Peters but Sarah Paulson as well? We certainly hope not!
