The Golden Globe-nominated FX drama Pose is set to return to TV screens next month, and while trailers actually showing new footage from the series has been a rarity due to geotagging, today we get our first proper taste of what to expect from season two.

Season Two will see the series flashing forward to 1990 New York, in the face of the AIDS crisis and ballroom culture sitting on the edge of becoming mainstream thanks to a select few including a certain Material Girl. Blanca (MJ Rodriguez) will have to juggle with her HIV diagnosis and her duties as mother as she attempts to guide the House of Evangelista through the challenges they face from the ever changing world around them.
