Mel C has long been an outspoken all for the LGBTQ+ community, with this year seeing the Spice Girls singer tour with several incredible Pride performances alongside queer club troupe Sink The Pink.

It seems her experience with the drag performers has also left a lasting impression on the singer and has inspired her to release 'High Heels.'

"High Heels was inspired by the time I spent with my gorgeous friends at Sink The Pink," the singer explains of the track.

"From the first moment I set foot in their fantastic club, I was blown away by the warmth and inclusivity of the atmosphere that had been created. It was a place where anyone could be themselves, whomever they were, while feeling completely relaxed about being so."

"High Heels is also a frivolous riot of a song, encapsulating an amazing night out and everything that goes into getting yourself ready for it!"

Written alongside Rae Morris and Fryars, with production from Grammy-winner Alex Metric, 'High Heels' echoes the feel-good messages of the likes of RuPaul, Madonna, Lady Gaga, with the latest self-love mantra, "You gotta love yourself above anybody else."

Check it out below.

Gotta admit, it's a pretty catchy tune. What did you think of it?
