For those fortunate to be heading to the United States for World Pride, we think this news is going to be of interest. The Queen of Pop, Madonna, is set to celebrate 50 years since the Stonewall riots at Pride Island on June 30.
The Pop icon ended months of speculation by at announcing she would be appearing at the world's biggest Pride event on Monday via video announcement.
"For once, the rumours are true. Madame X is coming to Pride Island. June 30th," Madonna wrote in the accompanying video wrapped in a rainbow Pride flag while bearing the symbol of her upcoming album Madame X.
"I hear you. I will be on Pride Island, where I was born," she says in the clip.

The exciting announcement follows Madonna's surprise performance at the Stonewall Inn welcoming 2019 on New Year's Eve, where she encouraged a shocked club to "never forget" the now celebrated riot at the venue that birthed the modern gay rights movement.
World Pride's Pride Island festival will take place the last Saturday and Sunday of June which will also see legendary queer icon Grace Jones headline Saturday's festivities ahead of Madonna's highly anticipated performance on the following day.
Talk about a massive case of FOMO, who's going?
