Now, this is some pretty damn exciting news. If reports by YNet are true, it seems that Madonna is in negotiations to perform at this year's Eurovision contest.

This year's contest is set to be in held in Tel Aviv, Israel following Netta's win last year and it seems Canadian-Israel billionaire Sylvan Adams has reportedly offered to fork up the cash to have the legendary icon make a guest appearance.

YNet is estimating that Madonna would be pain around one million dollars for the guest appearance and Adams has allegedly said that an agreement has nearly been reached.

Danny Ben Naim, an associate of Adams, is saying, “We are holding round-the-clock negotiations with Madonna’s people."

“Adams believes that the participation of an artist like Madonna in this year’s show will significantly increase the exposure and media coverage of the Eurovision Song Contest itself and the corresponding events… as well as of the wonderful people and beauty of the State of Israel.”

This year's Eurovision has been receiving quite a bit of backlash from British celebrities with many calling upon the BBC to pull the show from airing due to humanitarian reasons. Considering Madonna's own human rights work, it will be interesting to see if she goes ahead with the show.
