If you haven't booked your plane tickets to Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras 2020, you better do it now because Kesha will be headlining the main stage during iconic pride festivities next year!

That's right! The 'Tik Tok' singer is heading down under to show her pride for one of the biggest queer celebrations in the world. The news was revealed earlier today via a video post on the Mardi Gras social media accounts.

"Hey Australia, this is Kesha." the singer said in the video.

"I am so excited to come celebrate at the Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras festival on February 29 – right before my birthday!

"We're going to party!"

That's now Kesha, and Dua Lipa confirmed for the annual party set to take over the Horden Pavillion and its surrounding areas. The 2020 Mardi Gras Party takes place Saturday, February 29th, kicking off from 10pm and going straight till 8am the next day. With more acts to be announced, it's safe to say tickets will sell out fast so grab 'em while you can.

Kesha is releasing her new album High Road on January, marking the first new material from the singer in three years, so here's hoping her performance will showcase both her old and new material.

In the December issue of Attitude Magazine, Kesha opened up about sexuality going on to say there wasn't a countdown to her coming out.

"I never hid [my bisexuality] from anybody. I never had a moment of feeling I had to come out about it," the pop star said.

"It was always there. I think I had a conversation with a gay magazine in the US, and they just asked me, 'Oh, are you bisexual?' and I was like, 'Obviously!'

"I have always been attracted to the soul behind a person's eyes. It has never occurred to me to care about a specific gender, or how someone is identifying, to make me wonder about whether or not I'm attracted to them."

She currently lives in LA with her partner Brad Ashenfelter, and hinted that the pair had a flexible arrangement.

"He's a sweetheart, but he also lets me be me," she said of her partner, "You know, I'll call him and be like, 'I had fun tonight, I met a sweet girl, and we had a really good time.' And he'll say, 'Cool babe, I love you.' It's so nice."

"I have both male and female energies, and so does he. He understands that me being attracted to a woman has nothing to do with my attraction for him."

"He knows that I'm just a wild spirit that needs to run free, and that I always come back to the barn for apples from my boy!"
