SPOILER ALERT: Do not read this if you have not yet watched “Boy Wonder,” the fifth episode of American Horror Story: Apocalypse.

What a FREAKIN' great episode! We got another Coven witch resurrected, everyone's favourite "white witch" aka the one and only Stevie Nicks made her long-awaited return to the series and it was all because Cordelia (Sarah Paulson) thought it would be a great idea to allow Michael Langdon (Cody Fern) take the test of the Seven Wonders.

Last week's episode was told almost entirely in a flashback to how Michael came to be a part of the coven of warlocks. Apparently, warlocks are regarded as lesser beings than witches for centuries but saw Michael's powers as a way to overthrow the magical hierarchy.

This week's episode picked up right where we left Cordelia fainting after she saw Michael had resurrected Madison (Emma Roberts) and Queenie (Gabourey Sidibe). While unconscious, the supreme was thrust into a vision of a future, and what a vision it was.

In a scene that made The Walking Dead look like a walk in a park. Cordelia found herself standing in the burnt out ruins of Miss Robichaux’s Academy, powerless and set upon by a hoard of zombies. As she's torn to bloody shreds a cloaked demonic figure watched on laughing. The gore for this season has reached a whole new level!

Once awake from the vision, Cordelia tells everyone about the horrifying vision and decides that Michael will indeed test the Seven Wonders. Of course, Myrtle is totally against getting her usual sass on reiterating that “men make terrible leaders!”

Myrtle pleads with the supreme to delay the test and perhaps consider Mallory (Billie Lourd), but Cordelia confesses that she's fading and needs to find a replacement Supreme before she dies. We also find out how Coco (Leslie Gorssman) came to join the academy. She discovered she could detect gluten in food (aka sense danger). So how this little side story will play out is anyone's guess.

While all this is going on, John (Cheyenne Jackson) got a glimpse of Michael’s true, demonic visage and realises he's the figure from Cordelia's vision. He decides he's out but not before having a little Jedi bitch fight with Behold Chablis (Billy Porter). However, he doesn't get too far because of Devil Momma Miriam (Kathy Bates) slashes his Achilles and his throat. Bates is really channeling her Annie Wilkes character from Misery.

It turns out Ariel (Jon Jon Briones) was also in on the attack, determined to see Michael rise to power. He's definitely going to get what he deserves.

Speed up to the Seven Wonders test. The first six are presented hilariously in black and white like one of those old-school melodramatic silent films. For the seventh test, the show returns back to normal with Cordelia making a slight change. She demands that Michael not only descends into the netherworld but also retrieves Misty Day (Lily Rabe) from her own personal hell, an eternity dissecting frogs. Of course, the other Warlocks are against it, but she's the Supreme so she will do what she wants!

Much to the surprise of everyone, Michael succeeds and returns with Misty. Yay! But soon as Michael proved himself as the prophesised Alpha of the warlocks, Cordelia started fading and fainted yet again. Things ain't looking too good for our favourite Supreme.

Later on, Misty tells Cordelia that there's something very wrong with Michael and that they shouldn't trust him. Misty seems to think he was literally talking to the devil in the netherworld. But Cordelia is one step ahead. She administered the test so she would know how powerful Michael really is, and vowed that he would never become the Supreme. She also admitted to tricking him into resurrecting all of the girls so they'd be better prepared to fight him. We're so team witches here!

If all this excitement wasn't enough, Stevie Nicks rocks up to sing "Gypsy," and we loved it! Even the warlocks do. But who wouldn't be impressed with their very own private Stevie Nicks concert? Of course, Michael and Ariel but they're obviously this season's villains, so screw them and their bad taste.

During the distraction of the show, Cordelia uses it conspire with Madison telling her about a plan to send her to Murder House to dig up all the dirt on Michael. She won't be going alone because Chablis (Billy Porter) now has his reservations about Michael and said either he joins Madison or he'd go straight to Michael and tell him what they're up to. What a bitch!

Can we just take this moment to acknowledge that two of Ryan Murphy's most comedic actors are going on an adventure to Murder House? Get the popcorn ready because next week's episode is gonna be a riot!
