During the 2019 Grammys, a new teaser for Disney's live-action remake of Aladdin dropped giving us our first proper look at Will Smith in action as the Genie.

For fans of the original Disney classic, parts of the teaser will seem somewhat familiar. We finally see Aladdin's adorable monkey companion Abu, We see Marwan Kenzari in action as the villainous Jafar. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure that procession sequence is mirroring that of Pince Ali's procession from the original film. Of course, the Genie reveal is left right till the end. It's yet to be seen whether Smith can fill the pretty big shoes left behind by the late Robin Williams, so I'll personally wait for a bit more footage before I lay down my judgement.
