It's murder mystery mayhem Liberty High School!

After somewhat spoiling its own plot twist earlier this month, Netflix has released its final trailer for the upcoming season of 13 Reasons Why, showing the first actual footage of the upcoming season and as to be expected, it's all kinds of dramatic.

Season 3 picks up eight months after Clay (Dylan Minnette) prevented Tyler (Devin Druid) using an assault rifle at his high school's Spring Fling. Surprisingly, it's not Tyler everyone is talking about. Instead, it's who killed Bryce Walker (Justin Prentice)?

The season's logline reads, "When the aftermath of a tumultuous Homecoming game culminates in the disappearance of a football player, and Clay finds himself under police scrutiny, it's up to a shrewd outsider to steer the group through an investigation that threatens to lay bare everyone's deepest secrets."

Drama! Drama! Drama!

As per usual the season will include multiple timelines that will reveal what happened between seasons and also assist in unraveling the murder mystery. While everyone at Liberty High might have a motive for Bryce's murder, it seems the police have Clay high on the suspect list. Part of the mystery will definitely be as to how he will clear his name.

Watch the trailer below.

It will be interesting to see if the series can stand on its own moving its plot away from the events surrounding Katherine Langford's Hannah Baker. Only time will tell.

Will you be tuning in?
